Alex Yu, Managing Director, joined New Mountain in 2026. He was previously a Partner at Avista Healthcare Partners, where he focused on private equity investments in the healthcare & life sciences sectors. Prior to Avista, he was an investment professional at Goldman Sachs and Fenway Partners. Alex started his career at Lehman Brothers in the Technology group.
He received his B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and his M.B.A, with honors, from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
