Raleigh Peters, Senior Advisor, joined New Mountain in 2023. Mr. Peters has over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry, and is an active investor, advisor, and non-profit board member.
Mr. Peters most recently worked for Blackstone, where he was responsible for building and leading the Global Strategic Partnerships team within Private Wealth Solutions. In this capacity, Mr. Peters and the team managed and grew the private wealth business for Blackstone by partnering with Private Banks, Wirehouse Firms, Regional and Independent Broker/Dealers, Custodians, and RIAs. Together, Blackstone’s team and these platform partners executed successful fund launches and capital raises for private equity, real estate, credit, hedge fund solutions, secondaries, tactical opportunities, growth equity, life sciences, and syndicated co-investments.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Peters was a Managing Director at J.P.Morgan Asset Management, responsible for leading the Independent Broker/Dealer distribution channel. This team raised capital for J.P.Morgan mutual funds, SMAs, and retirement solutions in partnership with independent advisors nationwide. While at J.P.Morgan, Mr. Peters served on the Global Culture Committee, Asset Management Global Advisory Committee, Sustainable Investment Leadership Team, and the 2016 Senior Leadership Conference.
Mr. Peters currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Grove City College, the Investment Committees at Westminster Theological Seminary and Felician Sisters of North America, and is a National Director for the Evans Scholars Foundation. Mr. Peters has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Grove City College and earned an MBA with distinction from Eastern University.
