Jim Tanner is Chief Executive Officer of Profile Products LLC and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. He joined Profile in 1991, serving in various roles including President, Chief Operations Officer, and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. After 18 years, Tanner joined Conwed Plastics as the Executive Vice President where he focused on sales, marketing, and research and development. Four years later, he returned to Profile Products LLC bringing a wealth of insight and leadership skills to the team.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Tanner has been an integral part in growing the value of the Profile brand and business. Tanner’s responsibilities included strategic planning, new product development, acquisitions, and managing industry relationships.
Tanner has eight U.S. patents and one Canadian patent. He is a current member of the International Erosion Control Association, Sports Turf Managers Association, and VISTAGE International. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Sorptive Minerals Institute. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Previously, Tanner held positions for Kraft General Foods, Conwed Plastics, and Milliken & Company.
