Shane Porzio is Chief Executive Officer of Profile Products LLC, a leader in sustainable environmental solutions and a portfolio company of New Mountain Capital. Shane brings over 25 years of global leadership experience in specialty chemicals, life sciences, and industrial manufacturing. He joined Profile in 2021 as President, overseeing the company’s horticulture, environmental, and clay technology businesses across sales, marketing, operations, R&D, and logistics. He was appointed President & CEO and joined the Board of Directors in April 2023.
Prior to joining Profile, Shane served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of the Food and Performance Materials Divisions at Vantage Specialty Chemicals. He spent more than two decades at BASF, where he held a series of senior executive roles with global and regional P&L responsibilities, including leadership of the Kaolin Minerals and Dispersions & Pigments businesses. Across his career, he has led organizations through growth transformations, international expansion, and commercial strategy development.
Shane holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from The University of Akron, an MBA from Wake Forest University, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Anthropology from Beloit College. He is fluent in four languages and brings to Profile a deep commitment to innovation, customer excellence, and sustainability-driven growth.
