Prankur Sharma, Vice President, joined New Mountain in 2025 as an employee of New Mountain India Private Limited. He is primarily focused on creating value for New Mountain’s portfolio companies by strategically leveraging the Indian ecosystem. Prior to joining New Mountain, he served as a Principal leading the AI/Automation Practice for a boutique strategy consulting firm, Zinnov, from 2014 to 2025.
At Zinnov, Prankur engaged with enterprise software companies and IT/business services providers on areas such as growth strategy formulation, new offering conceptualization, organizational redesign and operational excellence, talent globalization initiatives, alliances programs, and go-to-market realignment. He also collaborated with customers in the private equity space for investment thesis formulation, deal sourcing, commercial due diligence, and post-investment value creation for portfolio companies across enterprise technology and technology services sectors.
Mr. Sharma graduated from BITS Pilani with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics.
