Robert Roberts

Director

Robert Roberts, Director, joined New Mountain Capital in 2020. Prior to joining New Mountain, he was an Operations Executive and Senior Advisor at TPG Capital from 2009-2020. Throughout his career, Robert has partnered with management teams to define and operationalize value creation strategies, and he has successfully led multiple complex turnaround and business transformation efforts for businesses ranging from $100M – $3B of revenue.

Earlier in his career, Robert was a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group and led strategy and operational excellence projects in the healthcare, business services, and education industries. He began his career as a Process Engineer for Shell Exploration and Production Company, working on offshore oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.

Robert earned an MBA from The Harvard Business School, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama, Magna Cum Laude.
