Dan joined New Mountain Capital in 2026 to partner with portfolio company management teams on operational transformation, strategic growth initiatives, and long-term value creation.
Prior to joining New Mountain, Dan served as Chief Executive Officer of CBORD and subsequently Chief Operating Officer of the combined Transact–CBORD organization following Roper Technologies’ acquisition of Transact Campus. In these roles, he led post-merger integration and operational transformation across enterprise software businesses serving the higher education and healthcare markets.
Previously, Dan served as Chief Executive Officer of Imperfect Foods, where he led the company’s turnaround and successful sale to Misfits Market, and as Chief Executive Officer of BuildDirect Technologies, where he led a recapitalization and multi-year business transformation that culminated in a public listing. Earlier in his career, Dan was part of the founding leadership team of Amazon Business, helping scale the business from launch to more than $5 billion in gross merchandise sales. He also held leadership roles at Target and McKinsey & Company.
Dan received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
