Mie Mikuni, Compliance Officer, joined New Mountain in 2026. Prior to New Mountain, Ms. Mikuni was Head of Compliance at Legal and General Investment Management Japan (“LGIM”). Before joining LGIM, Ms. Mikuni was Head of Compliance of Money Design Co., Ltd. (“MD”), a Japanese fintech start-up asset manager. Prior to MD, Ms. Mikuni was Chief Compliance Officer of Simplex Asset Management Japan (“SAM”), a Japanese hedge fund investment manager. Before SAM, Ms. Mikuni was Head of Japan Compliance, Managing Director, BlackRock Japan (“BR”). Prior to BR, Ms. Mikuni was Head of Compliance of Barclays Global Investors Japan until its merger with BR. Ms. Mikuni started her compliance career in financial industry in Credit Suisse Asset Management Japan. Ms. Mikuni holds a B.A. in Anglo-American Literature from Rikkyo University, Japan.
