Jeremy is a seasoned healthcare entrepreneur who brings more than 25 years of operational and technology leadership and expertise to the role of CEO. Prior to Smarter Technologies, Jeremy served as founding Chief Operating Officer of Devoted Health, Chief Technology Officer of Wayfair, and Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer at athenahealth, the leading provider of network-enabled software and services for health care practices. During his tenure at athenahealth, Jeremy also was appointed to the Health IT Standards Committee by the Secretary of Health and Human Services and was the founding Chairman of the Board of the CommonWell Health Alliance, an industry trade association focused on the interoperability of electronic health record platforms. He currently serves on the Board for Hazel Health. Jeremy began his career in the Strategy & Operations practice at Deloitte Consulting.
He received a BA with Honors from Wesleyan University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, where he was awarded the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation Prize for leadership potential in the field of health care.
