Michael Ibrahim, Operating Partner, joined New Mountain in 2023. Mr. Ibrahim has been advising Private Equity portfolios since 2016, most recently as a managing director in the Value Creation team at Partners Group. During his tenure at Partners Group, Mr. Ibrahim held operating responsibilities for all Private Equity assets in the technology sector, led the digitalization practice, and served on the Private Equity and Global Investment Committees. Previously Mr. Ibrahim served as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co. where he primarily led strategy and growth efforts in the telecommunications and technology industries. Michael has also led two software companies from founding to strategic acquisition both as CTO and CEO.
Mr. Ibrahim received an MBA from MIT Sloan, a PhD in physics from Yale University, and a BA in physics and mathematics from Gustavus Adolphus College.
