Vaibhav Gupta, Director, joined New Mountain Capital in 2023 as an employee of New Mountain India Private Limited. He is primarily dedicated to growing and managing New Mountain’s presence within the Indian ecosystem. Prior to joining New Mountain, he served as the Global Head of Private Equity for a boutique strategy consulting firm, Zinnov, from 2015 to 2023. At Zinnov, he provided strategic guidance to global Private Equity firms, specifically targeting investments in rapidly growing technology ecosystems. He played a pivotal role in leading strategy, value creation, and diligence teams, successfully implementing transformative growth and profitability initiatives for portfolio companies.
Prior to his tenure at Zinnov, Mr. Gupta held various roles within Deloitte Consulting and Corporate Strategy teams from 2009 to 2015. During this period, he actively contributed to technology transformations, competitive strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and innovation efforts.
Mr. Gupta earned an MBA in International Business from The Delhi School of Economics, India, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Nirma University, India.
