Jim Emling is an established business leader with experience across the data and F&B industries. Jim originally joined Datassential as a Board Member in 2019, and then spent two years as COO before stepping into the CEO role in 2022. During his tenure, Jim has driven Datassential to its fastest growth period in company history, in large part due to his emphasis on helping customers innovate and sell smarter. Previously, he was the long-time president of Zywave, a software business that provides cloud-based solutions for the insurance and financial services industries. During his 17 years at Zywave, Jim helped scale the business from $0 to $100 million of revenue, and navigated the company through two exit transactions. Jim also has experience serving on the board of several innovative data businesses including Ease, RainKing, Bitly, and Expert Institute.
