Andrew Cooper, Managing Director, joined New Mountain in 2019 as an Operating Partner and works closely with several portfolio companies across multiple sectors to drive value for our investors. While he serves as a core member of the Infrastructure Services sector team, Mr. Cooper also partners with management teams within the home services, health care, and consumer sectors. Prior to New Mountain, Mr. Cooper held various executive roles and was an Operating Partner at Pegasus Capital Advisors for 11 years. During his time at Pegasus, he partnered with management teams to lead the value creation activities and exit transactions for portfolio companies across several sectors. Mr. Cooper also served as the CEO of Universal Lubricants (a Pegasus portfolio company), leading the transformation and successful exit. He spent 7 years at Priceline.com as a Senior Vice President and P&L owner during the business-building phase, and he focused on the health care sector early in his career, including operational and business development roles at Oxford Health Plans and Continental Health Affiliates.
Mr. Cooper received a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
