Prasad Chintamaneni, Managing Director, joined New Mountain in 2019. He leads the firm’s investment efforts in digital transformation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Accolite Digital, Bounteous, emids and HealthComp.
Mr. Chintamaneni was previously the President, Global Industries and Consulting for Cognizant. In this role, Mr. Chintamaneni led Cognizant’s vertical commercial organization, which included all industry verticals and the global consulting business. Mr. Chintamaneni previously served as Executive Vice President and President of Cognizant’s Banking & Financial Services practice. Mr. Chintamaneni joined Cognizant in 1999 and established key relationships with many of Cognizant’s largest banking and financial services clients. During Mr. Chintamaneni’s tenure as the Global Practice Leader, Cognizant’s Banking and Financial Services business became one of the largest practices in the industry, earning Cognizant #4 on 2018 IDC FinTech Rankings.
Prior to joining Cognizant, Mr. Chintamaneni spent seven years in the investment banking and financial services industry, including working at Merrill Lynch and its affiliates as an Investment Banker and member of Merrill’s Business Strategy Committee in India.
Mr. Chintamaneni holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI – the Xavier School of Management in India.
