Brenda Wu is President & Chief Executive Officer of Topix, the #1 independent provider of professional skincare products in the United States. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Brenda oversees Topix’s family of brands, which include Replenix, DermaE, ClarityRx and custom brands developed in partnership with leading dermatologists, which are sold across a variety of high-growth channels, including physician offices, professional spas, natural and premium retailers and direct-to-consumer.
Prior to joining Topix, Brenda spent over 13 years at L’Oréal in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, Brenda served as U.S. General Manager of SkinCeuticals, a premium, advanced skincare company. Brenda was instrumental in defining & executing strategy, salesforce management, brand positioning and outsized growth for the Skinceuticals brand. Under her leadership, SkinCeuticals rose from the #3 to the #1 professional skincare brand ranked by revenue. Prior to her instrumental role with SkinCeuticals, Brenda held a variety of leadership positions across other L’Oréal brands, including Vice President of Marketing for Giorgio Armani Beauty, Kiehl’s Since 1851 and Lancôme from 2005 to 2012. Prior to her work in the skincare and beauty industry, Brenda was a Senior Merchandiser (Buyer) for Banana Republic, a Digital Senior Marketing Manager for AOL and a Strategy Consultant at Bain & Company.
Brenda received her B.A. from Harvard University, graduating cum laude, and her M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School. She has also attended Harvard Law School and the Christine Valmy Esthetics school.
