Alfred J.V. Stanley, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined Intermarine in June 2012. Mr. Stanley has held executive leadership roles in both Private Equity and operating environments over the past 20 years and brings a unique perspective on growing services based companies. Prior to joining Intermarine he was a partner (and later managing partner) at Morgenthaler Partners, a growth focused private equity firm. He led a number of highly successful investments in logistics, distribution and industrial technology companies. His career investment track record is in excess of 3.4x (return on invested capital) with companies such as Avtron, Satellite Logistics, Ryan Herco Flow Solution and Philtem. He enjoyed his time on the investing side but followed his passion back to an operating environment when he joined Intermarine.
From 1996 to 2004, Mr. Stanley held a series of senior executive positions with The General Electric Company and was appointed a Corporate Officer in 2002. His leadership positions included President and CEO of Global Life and Health Re, a $4 billion division of GE Insurance Solutions; Chief Operations Officer of GE Insurance Solutions (formerly Employer's Re-Insurance), a $11 billion unit of GE; Chairman and CEO of GE Mexico as well as Six Sigma & operational roles with GE Lighting and a corporate business development leadership role. He also gained valuable operating experience in the Automotive and Oil & Gas sectors early in his career.
Mr. Stanley holds a bachelor's of applied science, with honors in Metallurgical Engineering, from Queen's University and a MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business, Harvard University. He has served on numerous privately held boards and recently joined the board of ID Solutions, a growing converter and image provider.
