Rob Silberman, Chief Executive Officer, served as an executive-in-residence at New Mountain from August 2000 to May 2001. Prior to joining New Mountain, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of CalEnergy Company, Inc., and was Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of International Paper. Mr. Silberman served during the first Bush administration as U.S. Assistant Secretary of the Army in the Department of Defense. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is a director of Surgis, Inc. and a member of New Mountain’s Advisory Board. New Mountain exited the Strayer investment in full in August 2005. |
