Robert M. Clements, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, joined the company in 1994 and has served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of EverBank Financial Corp since its formation in 1997. He was previously a Vice President of Merrill Lynch & Co., as a member of the firm’s leveraged buyout group, Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Inc.

Mr. Clements is a former member of the Federal Reserve’s Thrift Institutions Advisory Council (TIAC) and a former director of Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. and Fortegra Financial. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.
