Walter Batson, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, co-founded Camber Corporation in April 1990 and has served as CEO since its inception. Under his leadership, the Company has grown into a diversified federal services provider with world-wide operations and over 1,750 employees, specializing in information technology, decision support systems, training, engineering and modeling and simulation. Mr. Batson developed the business plan and managed the execution that resulted in this diversified growth, all of which was accomplished without any capital infusions prior to New Mountain's investment. Mr. Batsons' industry expertise and keen business leadership have propelled Camber to Inc Magazine's 500 list of fastest growing private companies on two occasions. Mr. Batson has been directly responsible for Camber's acquisitions and new business ventures, several of which were spun-off into separate companies.

Prior to Camber, Mr. Batson served in executive positions at Hilton Systems and at JMCA. Mr. Batson earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Accounting and a Master's degree in Operations Research from the University of Alabama.
