Albert A. Notini, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, joined the Board of Apptis in March 2007 and became Chief Executive Officer in August 2007. From 2004 to 2007 Mr. Notini was the President, Chief Operating Officer and a director of Sonus Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:SONS), a rapidly growing provider of IP-voice infrastructure equipment to telecommunication companies worldwide. Under his leadership, Sonus expanded globally, diversified its product lines, expanded its earnings and created over $1 billion in market value. Prior to joining Sonus, Mr. Notini was the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and a director of Manufacturers' Services Ltd. from 2000 to 2004, a NYSE-listed electronics manufacturing services and supply chain company. At that company Mr. Notini led the financial and operational turnaround that resulted in a successful merger with Celestica, Inc. Prior to MSL, Mr. Notini was with NASDAQ-listed Wang Global Corporation from 1994 to 1999 where he was Executive Vice President for Corporate Development and Administration focused on M&A and global expansion. At Wang, Mr. Notini was a core member of the executive leadership team that transformed the company through acquisitions and organic growth from a declining minicomputer vender to a growing, world-wide networks services provider with $3.5 billion in revenue and 22,000 employees, prior to its successful sale to a European buyer. Mr. Notini began his career in 1984 at the law firm Hale and Dorr, LLP (now WilmerHale, LLP) where he was elected a Senior Partner. He was one of five partners that led Hale and Dorr's national commercial and corporate reorganization practice advising companies and financial institutions across multiple industries on finance, M&A and reorganization matters. Mr. Notini served as Law Clerk to the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court from 1983 to 1984 after receiving his J.D. from Boston College Law School where he served as Editor in Chief of the Law Review. He holds his masters degree from Boston University and received his A.B from Boston College, summa cum laude. Mr. Notini is also a director of Deltek Sytems, Inc. |
